On November 28, we chose gratitude in action with a Thanksgiving beach cleanup at Playa Guiones, right here in Nosara.
Instead of just celebrating, we teamed up with The Seventh Wave Foundation and our friends at Guanavista to give back to nature.
Volunteers gathered at 8 a.m. in the Baker’s parking lot, ready to clean the stretch of beach from the entrance to the estuary.
Trash bags in hand, we worked together under the morning sun, clearing plastic, debris, and anything else that didn’t belong. Every small action added up.
This Thanksgiving beach cleanup reminded us that protecting the places we love is the best way to show appreciation.
Nosara’s beaches give us so much—peace, beauty, and connection. Keeping them clean is how we return the favor.
